- MOVING AROUND A SCREEN OR TO ANOTHER SCREEN
-
- The design and construction of hypertext networks
- heavily emphasizes browsing interfaces which enable the
- hypertext user to quickly "jump" to desired
- information. However, the user needs to be able to
- control the screen or page in order to effectively
- access the system. The following commands will enable
- you to rapidly move to another screen within a file:
-
- PGDN - Displays next screen
-
- PGUP - Displays previous screen
-
- HOME - Displays first screen of file
-
- END - Displays last screen of file
-
- You have the option of returning to the title screen of
- this system from any file in the network with the
- following command:
-
- CTRL and HOME (press simultaneously)
-
- This is especially useful to know if you become "lost"
- in hypertext!
-
- The following commands will enable you to move through
- or within a screen using the plus (+) and minus (-)
- near the numerical keypad:
-
- PLUS (+) Moves a highlight bar down, then scrolls screen forwards
-
- MINUS (-) Moves a highlight bar up, then scrolls screen backwards
-
- The plus (+) and minus (-) keys control forward and
- backward line scroll in files containing multiple
- screens.
